The lodge
Elements Lodge sits on the sunny side of the Tuftbach, directly opposite the Eiger North Face. 24 spacious studios for up to 5 guests, each with its own kitchen, bathroom and balcony with Eiger view.
15 minutes' walk to the station, bus stop 30 m from the house. Thanks to digital check-in, you can arrive late in the evening too.

All 24 studios have a balcony with a direct view of the Eiger North Face – from morning light to alpenglow.

All 24 studios have their own bathroom, kitchenette, dining table, coffee machine, Wi-Fi and balcony. The Budget and Top Floor variants differ only by floor.

Grindelwald
Eiger, Wetterhorn and Schreckhorn on the doorstep. Cable cars to First, Männlichen and Jungfraujoch, over 300 km of hiking trails, trail-running routes, the Grindelwald-Wengen ski area – and the Bachalpsee, when the sun disappears behind the Faulhorn.

Ski bus stop 30 m from the house, slopes from Grindelwald-Wengen to First. Sledging and winter hiking included.
Good to know
There is no staffed reception: you check in online in advance via the guest portal (log in with your booking number and arrival date). Your room number and personal door code appear in the portal from 12:00 on the day of arrival – so late arrivals are no problem.
Yes – at Meli's Gade right next to the lodge, daily 08:00–10:30, CHF 15 per person. Please book in the guest portal by 18:00 the evening before. Every studio also has a coffee machine and kitchen; the Coop supermarket is about a 15-minute walk away.
The visitor's tax is paid separately at online check-in: CHF 5.20 per person aged 16+ per night, CHF 4.20 for ages 12–15, children up to 11 are exempt. In return you receive the Grindelwald guest card with discounts.

Coop (Dorfstrasse 101) and a bakery about 15 minutes' walk away; recommended restaurants: Meli's Gade right next door, Café 3692, Barry's, Mercato, Alte Post – all 5 to 15 minutes away.

Getting here & contact
By train via Interlaken Ost to Grindelwald, then a 15-minute walk without any climb, or take the bus to “Tuftbach”. By car: limited parking right next to the building.
